FAQs

The Wedding Website of Raechel Greubel and Alex Ravens-Meder
We can’t wait to celebrate with you! To help you plan your trip and make the most of our wedding weekend, we’ve put together answers to some of the most common questions regarding travel, attire, and the schedule of events.
Question

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests arrive thirty minutes prior to the start of the ceremony to find their seats. To keep our celebration intimate, we invite you to sit as close to the front as possible. While the first few rows are reserved for our immediate family, we want everyone else right there with us as we say 'I do!'

Question

Where should guests park for the ceremony?

Answer

A parking lot is located next to the church, along with street parking on Marconi Avenue and Wilson Avenue.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

While the wedding party captures photos, we invite you to explore The Hill! Please visit our 'Things To Do' section for a curated list of our favorite local spots and activities to enjoy before the reception begins.

Question

Where should guests park for the reception?

Answer

Complimentary valet parking is provided for the reception at the main hotel entrance on 8th Street. If you prefer to self-park, a garage is located at 9th Street and Washington. Overnight Rates For guests staying at the hotel, daily parking rates are as follows: Self-Parking: $40 Valet Parking: $58

Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by October 10, 2026, so we can finalize our plans.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Please refer to your formal wedding invitation for information regarding plus-ones.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We invite guests to join us in formal attire. Tuxedos and floor-length gowns are encouraged, but suits and formal cocktail dresses are also welcome. Black Tie Optional means guests can choose between full black-tie attire (tuxedo/gown) or slightly less formal, but still elegant, formal wear (dark suit/cocktail dress). For men, this means a tuxedo or a dark suit, white shirt, and tie. For women, it's floor-length gowns, elegant cocktail dresses, or dressy jumpsuits.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Our wedding reception will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this advance notice allows you to enjoy a night off and celebrate with us!

Question

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

Answer

All guests must RSVP online via our website once your formal invitation is received. Due to delays with the postal service, responding digitally ensures your response reaches us instantly and helps us keep our guest count accurate.

Question

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

We have exclusively reserved a room block at the Marriott Grand. To ensure you receive our special group rate, please visit the 'Travel' section of our website for the reservation link.

Question

What time will your wedding reception end?

Answer

Our wedding reception will end at 12 AM.
