Aly is the bride’s little sister and first bff. Aly, although she’s a little sister, has been such a role model in Kami’s life. The way she loves people, life and Jesus make Kami want to be more like her. Aly got married 3 months before Kami, so Kami is learning how to be a wife through Aly, too ;) Aly has an ability to make Kami laugh ‘til she cries and cry with Kami in moments of hardship. Their sisterhood is a gift and life-giving to Kami.

Tay is the bride’s second little sister. Tay has such a calm presence about her that she carries. Tay has walked through every season with Kami with that calmness & grace. After Kami went to college, Tay and her became closer and closer. The age gap didn’t feel like any gap at all, and the two became closer than ever. To know Tay is to love her. Kami is so thankful to have her as a little sister.

Ashtyn is truly a sister from another mister. She has known Kami since Kami was a newborn. Their two families were in ministry together in Ohio for 8 years & became family. Ashtyn & her husband moved to Michigan in 2022, and the bond between Ashtyn & Kami grew through shared seasons of waiting for deep desires of their hearts. Now, Kami is getting married & Ashtyn has a daughter- 2 things they both prayed for the other. What a life!
Faith Stevens

Faith and Kami graduated from Lowell high school together in 2017, but their friendship didn’t begin until 2023. When Faith’s husband, Jesse, became Impact’s high school pastor, Kami & Faith became friends. Their connection was immediate & became even deeper when they spontaneously drove to Chicago to see the Jonas Brother’s in concert for a weekend. Since then, they’ve been Faith and Jesse have been some of Rae & Kami’s closest friends.
Olivia Crofoot

Olivia is Kami’s high school best friend that has remained one of Kami’s closest girls. Olivia is steady & faithful. She didn’t distance herself when there was physical distance in colleges states away from each other. She is intentional and one of the most caring friends Kami has ever known. Olivia has been an absolute gift and joy in Kami’s life since 2015. It’s such a full circle moment to have her standing next to Kami on the day they dreamt of as high school girls.
Mallory Kirby

Mal has quickly become a good friend of Kami’s over the last year and a half. After their trip to the Passion Conference with impact’s young adult group in 2023, the two became close friends. Mallory has been such an intentional friend- consistently asking questions, seeing how wedding planning is going & asking how she can help. Mallory has been such an encouragement since the beginning of Kami & Rae’s relationship. Kami is so thankful to have a friend like Mallory!

Joshah is the embodiment of the proverb, “There is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” From the very beginning, Rae has seen the Lord’s hand intricately weaving their stories together — not only in their individual journeys, but in the unique bond they share. Whether it’s spontaneous trips to the mountains or slow, intentional moments over a cigar, their time together has always stirred a deeper hunger for the Lord. To Rae, Joshah is more than a friend — he is his best friend, dearest brother, and most trusted advisor. Rae is deeply and immeasurably grateful to have Joshah by his side in this sacred chapter of life. To have a brother like Joshah is, simply, a blessing beyond words.

Jesse has quickly become one of Rae’s closest friends. Moving to a new state can be daunting, but having Jesse in his corner made all the difference — creating space for Rae to begin feeling truly at home. Whether diving into God’s Word or sharing a meal, their time together is often filled with honest conversations about marriage, leadership, and what it means to steward their wives’ (and future wives') hearts well. It’s been a true joy for Rae to cultivate this growing friendship, and he’s incredibly grateful to walk this season of life with Jesse by his side.

Trenton played a foundational role in Rae’s journey with the Lord. In the early days of Rae’s walk with Jesus, Trenton discipled him with patience, prayer, and faithful presence — planting seeds that have grown into Rae’s deep love for God and His Word. Over time, their relationship has grown from mentorship into a cherished friendship. Rae holds profound gratitude for Trenton’s investment in his life and is incredibly honored to stand at the altar with him as a groomsman. Truly, praise the Lord for Trenton.

Connected by a shared love for the transcendent and the beautiful, the two have spent countless hours in deep conversations exploring life’s complexities and mysteries. One of Rae’s favorite memories with Renjie is their unforgettable 18-hour road trip up the California coast to Oregon — a journey filled with reflection, laughter, and discovery. For Rae, having Renjie as family is a gift; there's a deep sense of comfort in knowing that, through everything, Renjie will always have his back.
