Sam and Rae met in 2020, at the start of COVID—when life slowed down and meaningful connections mattered more than ever. What began as a friendship quickly grew into a love filled with adventure, a home of their own, and two beloved cats - Momo & Moonie. Five and a half years later, during a trip to Rehoboth Beach, Sam asked the question that would begin their next chapter.

Sam and Rae took a last-minute trip to Rehoboth Beach in September 2025, where Sam secretly brought along the engagement ring he’d been holding onto since April. That evening, as they walked the beach collecting seashells (Rae completely unsuspecting) Sam got down on one knee and proposed. Nearby, another couple was celebrating their elopement, while dolphins were jumping out of the ocean - making it a moment they’ll never forget.
