Flight

SeaTac Airport

Since most guests will be flying between LAX and SeaTac, you may be able to coordinate arrival and departure times in order to share a rental car. We recommend flights arriving before 1PM, as the drive from SeaTac to Leavenworth is about 2&1/2 hours (but it's beautiful!)

Suggested Vehicle Types

We suggest renting a vehicle that is well-equipped for slightly snowy conditions as part of the drive travels through high-elevation mountains. It's extremely unlikely that you would need chains, but a small SUV or car with 4WD may be a good idea, especially if you are unfamiliar with driving in those conditions. Again, carpool with other guests if you can!

The Grand River Lodge

The wedding will be held on location at the Grand River Lodge, and all guests (besides immediate family) are welcome to stay onsite Friday and Saturday night at no cost. If preferred, you are welcome to make your own accommodations offsite.

Post Hotel Leavenworth

This is an adults-only luxury hotel that books up fast. We have a few rooms booked here for a few days before and after the wedding as well as during. If you would like to adopt one of these reservations please let us know. Those not adopted by the beginning of October will be canceled.

We have two reservations booked here as well for Friday and Saturday night. If you would like to adopt one of these reservations please let us know. Those not adopted by the beginning of October will be canceled.
