The Venue

Please use the following address in your GPS system for directions to the venue: 3099 N Canyon Rd Camino, CA 95709. Both our ceremony and reception will take place outdoors at Silverthorn Meadows. The venue is located in Apple Hill (Camino, CA). Evening events will be held under a covered tent located on the property. In the event of difficult weather, we will move everything under the covered tent.

Barefoot Ceremony

We invite you to join us for a barefoot wedding ceremony on our venue’s beautiful, grassy, lawn in order to connect with the nature that surrounds us during this significant experience. Please bring (dancing!!) shoes along for the reception.

Due to limited seating and our venue’s capacity, we are unable to make accommodations for anyone who is not formally listed on the invitation.

Arrival Time

Answer

Please give yourself plenty of time to arrive before the ceremony begins. The parking lot is separate from the actual venue. There will be a shuttle that transports folks from the parking lot to the venue. The shuttle will start transporting guests to the venue at 1:00pm and will end promptly before the ceremony begins. We cannot shuttle all the guests right before the ceremony starts, so please give yourself sufficient time to arrive and get settled. If you are arriving in a larger group or wheel chair, please contact us for accommodations.

Dress Code

Cocktail/semi-formal attire is strongly encouraged. (Ex. formal/cocktail dresses, pantsuit, suits, sports coat, collared shirt with tie, etc.). Bright colors, funky patterns, and jewel/earth tones are highly welcome. The reception takes place outdoors, so you may consider a light jacket for the evening (although, there will be several heaters if it gets chilly!).

Hors d’oeuvres, dessert, and a buffet-style tri-tip & pasta dinner will be provided. A “late night snack” will be offered later in the evening to those who stay and party with us all night long! There will be an open bar serving beer, wine, and signature cocktails. Non alcoholic beverages will be provided for our sober friends and designated drivers.

We sincerely appreciate your generosity! The most important thing to us is that you are able to celebrate with us on our wedding day. However, we can’t wait to make lifelong memories as a married couple. We value creating new experiences together. If you feel inclined to honor us with a gift, we would be thrilled to accept a contribution towards our honeymoon so that we can plan an adventure to celebrate our marriage, the completion of both of our studies, & the next phase of our lives together. There is a honeymoon fund located on the registry page on this website. A physical wedding card box will be available at the event. Thank you, so much for your thoughtfulness!

October is the perfect time of year to visit Apple Hill, where our venue is located. Apple Hill is famous for its apple farms, u-pick farms, and sweet treats. It’s the largest concentration of apple farms in California and is popular for families to visit during the harvest season. Fall-time Apple Hill activities include apple picking, wine tasting, pumpkin picking, sweet treats (apple cider, apple donuts, caramel apples!!!!), flowers, and so much more.
