Things To Do
******UPDATE: Radix’s THURSDAY NIGHT SHOW at the Root Bar HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO A COVID EXPOSURE******
Asheville is a wonderful, quirky, artsy mountain town with delicious food and beautiful views.
Downtown is lovely for a stroll and people watching.
The River Arts District is great for street art and to visit the local artist studios (most are open year-round).
You could relive our first date at Asheville’s original microbrewery, Highland Brewery. It has lots of space to roam, trails to walk, food trucks and disc golf course on property. Also it’s easy to park there.
Some of our favorite local places to eat and drink are Chai Pani, Sovereign Remedies, Smoky Park Supper Club, Sunny Point, the S&W Food Hall, Burial Brewery, Homegrown, Izzy’s, Biscuithead and Taco Temple.
Romanticasheville.com is a great resource for exploring options and has great directions to beautiful hiking spots.
Even a quick drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway will provide some breathtaking views.
