We met at age 19 and instantly felt a pull towards each other. We both knew we had found something special. Our first date was a picnic in the park at sunset. When Radhika saw her first shooting star, she took it as a sign there would be more dates to come.

We were walking down the beach in Maui on our way to an anniversary dinner that Jake had planned. His new pants were too tight, so he walked awkwardly trying to hide the ring box in his pocket. He dropped to one knee and asked if Radhika would spend the rest of her life with him. When she saw the ring, she replied "put it on me," which he took as a yes!
