Multiple locations, including at The Line. Breakfast tacos are the best; we recommend the Migas on corn.

ATX Cocina

Upscale Mexican cuisine in downtown Austin. Walkable from The Line; bookings recommended. Great Happy Hour menu (5-6 weekdays, 2-4 Sunday).

Matt's El Rancho

Classic Austin Tex Mex. Pure chaos. No reservations. Be prepared to wait for ~1 hour. Can grab drinks at the bar while waiting. Order the Bob Armstrong dip.

Terry Black's Barbecue

Great BBQ! No reservations; be prepared to wait in line - but it's worth it. Come hungry!

Franklin Barbecue

Austin's most famous BBQ spot. You need to get in line early: 2-3 hours on weekdays, 4-5 hours on weekends. Bring coffee, breakfast tacos, and cards while you wait in line!

De Nada Cantina

Famous for their tacos and margaritas in East Austin. Happy Hour Monday-Friday, 3:30-6:30.

Amy's Ice Creams

Great local ice cream. Multiple locations - South Congress is a classic, and they even have one at the airport.

Josephine House

Cute Austin restaurant! Great for breakfast and brunch; if you're in Austin on Monday, they do a great Steak Frites night.

Pinthouse Pizza

Our go-to pizza place (Burnet or South Lamar locations). The Ooh La La is a crowd pleaser!

Home Slice Pizza

Great pizza; South Congress location is more fun! Very big pizzas - definitely shareable.

JuiceLand

Best smoothies and juices. Multiple locations. We'd recommend the Honey Beary or the Wundershowzen.

We recommend The Belgian (iced), or the Iced Turbo (if you want something sweeter). Also have great breakfast tacos, and an airport location!

Walking trail around Lady Bird Lake, accessible from The Line hotel. You can do anywhere from a 3 mile to a 10 mile loop depending on which bridge you cross.
