Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we ask that every guest wears black. Men are welcome to pair a black suit with a white shirt.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! We know Gianna herself will need accommodations, there is no shame, and we don't want anyone leaving hungry! (Anyone that knows the Radevskis and Leiningers, knows that's not how we roll.) Please let us know when you RSVP what accommodations we can make for you!

Question

Are there any traditions taking place that I should know about the wedding?

Answer

Yes! During the ceremony you will be invited to take part in communion with the bride and groom. We believe that Jesus died for us, to save us from our sins. We take and eat bread as his body and drink wine as his blood, to do this in remembrance of his saving grace. (Luke 22:18-20) During the reception you will get to take part in two Macedonian traditions. Our "Pig Dance" is a masculine ritual dance symbolizing good fortune, prosperity, and abundance for the newly married couple. The "Pogacha" is a bread dance that involves guests circling around the couple while holding a special loaf of bread above their heads for good luck and prosperity. Typically, during these two dances, money is collected for the couple, although you do not have to give anything. We want everyone to get the opportunity to be a part of our special day and celebrate our culture with us!
