We're getting married!

We met in 2009 as American University freshmen who were pretending to be lawyers, but we didn't start dating until our senior year. We went our separate ways after graduating from college, but reconnected in 2018 for a second first date. Since then, we've traveled across the country, whipped up a lot of gourmet meals, adopted our cats/children Mindy and Maisie, and bought a house together. After supporting each other through a long distance relationship, a global pandemic, and big career changes, Will knew it was time to pop the question. He surprised Liz by proposing at the Tidal Basin on March 18, 2023, just as the cherry blossoms were blooming. (She said yes!) We can't wait to start our next adventure together and look forward to celebrating with you soon!
