Kamil and Samantha met at Rutgers University since they lived on the same floor. The first time Kamil noticed Samantha was at the dorm meeting on move-in day.

At the top of the Freedom Tower, Kamil asked Samantha to be his girlfriend. She overwhelming said "yes" as he handed her a rose. Now, three years later on the same day, Kamil proposed.

Kamil and Samantha both tutored before they met each other, so they decided to join forces and start a tutoring company named Prep For Success. Currently, they are partnered with over 30 schools in which they teach SAT/ACT prep classes, as well as private individual tutoring.

On their three year anniversary, Kamil and Samantha enjoyed a date day together. They went to an aquarium, which is one of Samantha's favorite places, and ended the day with a romantic dinner at the Chart House, which overlooked the Skyline of New York City. After dinner, Kamil and Samantha came home to see an "inspector" at their new home. Little did Samantha know but the "inspector" was actually a professional photographer to capture the moment. Kamil popped the question in their to-be kitchen with roses, heart balloons, and "marry me?" spelled out in candles.
