Why the Paradisus Los Cabos Resort?

Answer

We're bringing it full circle. Cabo was our very first vacation together as a couple. Even though the name has changed and has been beautifully renovated, it is the same location and company that we stayed with. So when deciding a wedding venue, we thought why not start our first married vacation together at the same location.❤️❤️❤️

What is the theme and color scheme of the wedding?

Answer

We’re going for a rustic/elegance look. Playing with the juxtaposition of wood elements & natural greenery,🌿 to Baroque style frames & metallic candelabras. Not too mention a few touches of glitter✨ & shimmer. To complete our theme, we’re using grey, beige, and gold as our color scheme.

Is there a group discount rate when booking for the hotel/resort?

Answer

Unfortunately, there is not. However, you can bundle your hotel stay and flight directly on Melia’s website and save a few bucks. Also if you sign up for the Melia Rewards, there may be offers or discounts available. Another option we recommend is using a third party site for packaging your flight and hotel together (i.e.bookit.com/Expedia.com). We have used these sites in the past for our vacations and have had success. So start saving!😉💸

What is “Inclusive” at this All-Inclusive resort?

Answer

This All-Inclusive resort includes: Open bar at any of the 7 bars located around the resort and beach area, all meals at any of the 7 restaurants located around the resort grounds (excludes the Gastro Bar restaurant), in room dining (Family Concierge & Royal Service only), pool, fitness center, live evening entertainment, and much more!

Can I stay at a different resort?

Answer

Yes, our guests are more than welcome to stay at another resort. However, there is a $40 fee per guest to gain entrance on to the resort property that we're asking those individuals to cover. The property pass only allows those guests to stay on property from the start of the ceremony to the end of the reception. We strongly encourage all our guests to stay with us on the resort, that way we can all be together for the weekend festivities.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids, but aside from our two little flower girls and our ring security, we would like this day reserved for adults. With that being said, if guests are making this a family trip, the resort does offer a babysitting service for a fee. We ask to please use this service during the ceremony and the reception. There is also a "kid zone" at the resort were kids can play during the duration of the wedding. Please email us and we will be more than happy to send the baby sitting service information.

What is the weather like during the month of July in Cabo, Mexico?

Answer

Generally in July weather can be fairly warm. From high 80F to low 90F during the peak of the day. From high 70F to low 80F during the early morning and evening time.☀️

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

No, we do not have a gift registry. Our guest's presence to take this adventure with us is enough. However, if guests still would like to give us a gift, there will be a card box at the reception welcome table.🎁

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code will be beach/business casual, so please dress accordingly. We want our guests to be comfortable, but that doesn't mean swimsuits and boardshorts. 🚫👙🚫

Will there be an open bar at the reception?

Answer

Yes, we will be having open bar with our very own bar & bartender all night during the reception.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

In order to keep our guestlist on track, we are only able to accommodate guests formally requested on the wedding invitation. Your invitation will indicate “and Guest” if you’re able to.

What travel essentials do I need to bring?

Answer

Each guest should have their own checklist prepared, but these are a few essentials to remember: A valid US passport, sunscreen, sunglasses, camera/camera phone, chargers, and a sense of adventure!😎
