Maid of Honor
Emily is Racy’s big sister. Being 3.5 years apart, their relationship growing up was much like other siblings, they didn’t care for each other. Somewhere down the road, they realized that with all the things life throws at us through time, they were lucky to have one another. They are now best of friends and very rarely go a day without some form of communication. They talk about anything and everything. They enjoy sister dates at chick fil a, watching stupid tv, sending memes back and forth, having spontaneous sleepovers, and sharing adorable pictures of their dogs that they are both obsessed with. Racy is very happy to have Emily as a sister and to have her stand next to her on her big day.
Bridesmaid
Best friend. Jasmine and Racy have been through many stages of life together. One of which that includes blonde hair, that they try to forget and will never let happen again. They’ve seen each other at their happiest and at their worst. They lived together until Racy decided to pull a Monica and live with a boy. Jasmine was actually the one who introduced the bride and groom. She takes major pride in that too, just ask her and you’ll see. Jasmine and Racy enjoy belting out songs in the car, brunch and mimosas, lazy Saturdays, and driving up the W road to take in the beauty of the city. They are lifelong friends and enjoy any time they get to spend together no matter how crazy or how low key the situation is. Racy is so happy Jasmine will be standing up front with her on the big day.
Bridesmaid
Friends for 20+ years. Grovenia and Racy became inseparable in first grade when they asked each other if they wanted to be friends and play on the playground together. Ever since that day, Grovenia has loved to mess with Racy’s OCD. They are the only friends who can yell, fight, and hit each other and come out of it even stronger and better. They love each other like sisters. They know they will always have each other’s back. Even though they haven’t lived in the same city since 2011 and they both suck as communication, they always pick up where they left off. They enjoy late night talks and reminiscing about everything they’ve been through together. Racy couldn’t say “I do” without Grovenia next to her.
Bridesmaid
Brianna and Racy instantly bonded at work. They enjoy shopping at Opry Mills, craft fairs, smelling all the good candles, making weird faces together, and showing up out of nowhere and surprising each other. They take their promises very seriously. Racy was tired of Brianna freaking out every time she would call her out of the blue and Brianna asking if she was engaged. So, Racy told Brianna that when something major like that happened, she would just show up in Nashville and surprise her. Racy kept that promise when she got engaged. Then Brianna promised she would come to Chattanooga before the end of the year. She showed up New Years Eve to surprise Racy who was thinking a promise was broken. Brianna promises to stand next to Racy on her big day and she couldn’t be more thrilled.
Bridesmaid
Kaitlyn and Racy met when they were neighbors. They bonded on their mutual love of buzzballs, naps, sweats and updos. They love porch time and dinner dates that include cheese dip. Although they are 4 years apart, they have a lot in common and both agree to be old souls. They enjoy vent sessions and talks about their futures. So of course, there was no question when talking about future weddings if Kaitlyn would be standing next to Racy or not.
