Negril has two main areas: West End and 7 Mile. If you're staying at Ocean Cliff Hotel, you're in the West End and 7 Mile is a 5-min cab ride away. If you're staying at Charela Inn on 7 Mile there are many restaurants, bars and convenience/grocery stores within walking distance.
While we have selected Ocean Cliff and Charela Inn for their delicious food, we also recommend other great places like Kuyaba, Skylark, Margaritaville and Rockhouse.
7 Mile also hosts many live music nights such as Woodstock (Thurs) and Roots Bamboo (Fri) that both start at 10pm.
Negril Town Center (at the roundabout on the way to West End) has a number of amenities like a Scotiabank, fast food, pharmacy, hair dressers/barber shops.
Currency: Most costs in Negril are posted in USD and can be charged directly to your credit card. Canadians: If you're using a credit card, ask to be charged in JMD. You can also withdraw JMD from your debit card at the current exchange rate from ATMs.
