We're Getting Married

Who would have thought an unexpected friendship would blossom into a deep and lasting love. Corbin and Racquel grew up together in the same church "Miami Bethany SDA." However they had very few interactions as children. Fast forward to the year 2014, Racquel and Corbin's friendship began when Racquel returned home after a year in college. Both Corbin and Racquel applied and interviewed for a job working at Forever21. This is when the friendship started to grow. They often went out to the movies, a popular event in Miami called art walk, and even went to see fireworks one 4th of July. Mutual friends and even coworkers believed that there was a spark between the two, but they were honestly just friends at the time even though there might have been something more. On July 23rd, 2015 Racquel and Corbin decided to make it official with the help of some of their mutual friends. They always knew that their relationship would evolve into marriage and often talked about their future together. They wanted to make sure that they setup the perfect life for each other so they both decided that they will push the idea of marriage off until both of them were set in their careers. Corbin graduated from the Police Academy in 2023 and Racquel graduated with her Masters in School Counseling in 2024. On June 25th, 2024, on a rooftop restaurant in Athens, Greece, Corbin proposed to Racquel in front of a host of family and friends. Of course Racquel said yes and now the two will be joined in Holy Matrimony in October of 2025.
