Travel Note

Carbon Offset

Aaron and I like most of our guests love to travel and I'm sure like most of our guests we share in a sense of global responsibility in the conservation of our climate. Tourism is responsible for roughly 8% of the world’s carbon emissions, making it a significant contributor to climate change. A one-way flight from San Francisco to Paris can produce just over 1.25 metric tons of carbon emissions per passenger. We wanted to share a way our guests can one small action to help! Carbon offsetting allows you to compensate for the carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions you produce by reducing emissions somewhere else! This is absolutely not required by our guests but merely a suggestion and a hope that if we all participate and donate to carbon offsetting we can say that travel to our wedding was carbon free! Please take a minute to check out the website provided. Calculate your emissions and donate to offset!
