We met at our local racetrack while hanging out after the races. Corey’s sister and I had actually known of each other for many years before this and even attended summer camps together but I never knew she had a brother. We both crossed paths numerous times while at the track but never actually spoke. We started hanging out and started dating 3 weeks later on 10/21/2017. Everything following this came as second nature. We became a family of 3 after getting our dog Axle in November of 2017. That wasn’t crazy enough for us, so along came our son Carsen in December 2019. Our family of 4 quickly grew to a family of 5 when Charlotte came in 2021. Now that our family is complete let’s make it officially Andersen party of 5.

On the anniversary of when we first met, we went pumpkin picking with our kids. Anyone who knows me knows, I love anything pumpkin or fall related. Corey planned out a hidden photographer, had his sister take me out for my nails, critiqued every outfit choice I made that morning, and even fooled me to think we were just simply pumpkin picking. I take picking pumpkins seriously so when he asked me if I wanted a green pumpkin I didn’t question it and began trying to get to the one he was pointing out. Little did I know he was kneeling on one knee holding an engagement ring. I never did get my green pumpkin but I did leave with a ring. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
