Cliff Walk
Entrance at Memorial & Eustis, Newport Not to be missed! This 3.5 mile walk along Newport’s pristine coastline will give you a waterfront tour of the majestic mansions and an awe-inspiring view of the Rhode Island Sound.
Ocean Drive Historic District
This ten mile drive showcases the history of opulent summer homes from the 1800's along with public parks and miles of beautiful shoreline. One of the most popular "drives" in the country. Beginning at the Elms, past the Breakers, winding around Ocean Drive to Fort Adams and the New York Yacht Club and ending at Kings Park on Newport Harbor, this drive offers some of the best scenery you can imagine.
The Lawn at Castle Hill Inn
Sit on the lawn in the Adirondack chairs with a lovely cocktail and watch the sailboats go by! What a wonderful way to spend a summer afternoon. This is a MUST see!
Second Beach
This is the "locals" favorite beach. Pack a lunch and get some sun. :)

The mansions of the Vanderbilt's, and other elite families that “summered” in Newport in the early 1900s, are a must-see. Our favorites include The Breakers, The Elms, Marble House & (of course!) Rosecliff. Tickets are available at each location.
