This appears to be somewhat universal across places in Portugal as they have different policies on room blocks than in the US. Located across the street from the wedding venue, this will allow guests to take a leisurely stroll from their hotel room to and from the wedding event without having to worry about missing any transportation. A room block will not be included with this location. The magnificent Pousada of Queluz, also known as Hotel Queluz or Hotel Dona Maria I, is located on a main square opposite the Queluz Palace which was the official residence of the Portuguese royal family from 1794. This luxury hotel in Queluz formerly housed the Royal Guards while resident at the Palace. It has been beautifully renovated, maintaining much of the building’s 18th century character.
