UBER is extremely limited if available at all on Jekyll Island. Especially during Shrimp and Grits weekend, it will be very difficult to find taxis/uber to and from the wedding venue. Guests who are not staying at the venue should plan to drive or find alternative transportation.
Renting a car is the best option. Each guest will receive a parking pass at check-in, so parking a car at the venue is a convenient option. Alternatively, we recommend arranging Ubers and Lyfts in advance to and from the airport or contacting maxtransportcompany.com or edwardtransportation.com to arrange private shuttle services.
Yes! The welcome drinks and ceremony will take place outside. Dinner will take place in a covered garden, followed by dancing! In the event of inclement weather, all events will be moved inside.
As much as we love little ones, the wedding is exclusively for adults, with the exception of immediate family who are part of our wedding party.
Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you have received a plus one, they'll be specifically addressed within the subject line of the invitation. Otherwise, we ask that only the named people on the invitation are in attendance. Thank you for understanding!
