FAQs

If you have any other questions, please contact Rachel or Jobe.
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal. OPTIONAL suggested colors are pastels or summer colors. For women, this may look like: silks, velvet, knee-length or ankle-length dresses, jumpers, dresses with slits, etc. Ao dai is suitable too. For further assistance, Rachel made a Pinterest board: https://pin.it/1ZFHJLzej Please avoid any white, ivory, or cream-colored clothes. The wedding party will be wearing pink and sage green; if you want to avoid matching with them, don't wear these colors. For men, this may look like suits or tuxedos with dress shoes. Please no jeans, khakis, polo shirts, short sleeves, or sneakers. White, or other colored LONG sleeve dress shirts are acceptable, please wear a tie or bowtie if you can!

Question

What time should I arrive at the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 6pm sharp. Doors will open at 5:30pm, please aim to arrive at 5:45pm at the latest. Please plan accordingly and accommodate any traffic that may be present. Corvallis is 1 hour 30 minutes from Portland without traffic, and 45 minutes from Eugene without traffic.

Question

What foods and drinks will be served at the reception?

Answer

We’re excited to have a delicious selection of street tacos, featuring chicken and beef meat options. Refreshing horchata will be served as our main beverage, and a dessert bar will be available to satisfy your sweet tooth. During the period between the end of the ceremony and the beginning of the reception, a large charcuterie board will be provided for guests to snack on. If these offerings don’t align with your dietary preferences, we kindly recommend eating beforehand to ensure you’re comfortable and well-fed throughout the evening.

Question

Can I make a big announcement at your wedding?

Answer

No. You will be escorted away immediately.

Question

Can I bring a plus one to your wedding?

Answer

Due to limited space at the venue we unfortunately cannot accommodate for a plus one. Please do not show up with an uninvited guest or invite other guests.

Question

Can I bring my child to your wedding?

Answer

We have decided to make this event for adults only, with an exception for specific family members.

Question

Can I bring my pet to your wedding?

Answer

Question

Will there be alcohol at your wedding?

Answer

No, we will not provide alcohol at our wedding. Please do not bring your own alcohol to the wedding, and do not drink alcohol within 4 hours of the wedding.
