Work has certainly had its ups and downs over the years. But of course one of those ups has been the fact that we met while working on the same team. Rachel really wooed Nick with all of her questions about testing internal controls! We developed a friendship and got to know each other over time (and of course taking a few international trips together didn't hurt). Nick FINALLY made a move and the rest is history!

Desperate for a getaway a few months into our 2020 work from home life, Rachel planned a trip to Crystal Springs, a resort in northwest New Jersey, so she could spend all day by a pool and Nick could golf. On our last night of the trip, Nick popped the question while we were hanging outside on our balcony. Rachel was totally shocked as she had been the one to plan the trip and Nick was acting totally normal all throughout the trip and at dinner - she had no idea it was coming!
