We are working on finalizing details, and we will be sending out invitations to guests in June of 2026. RSVPs will be expected back by July 31st 2026 so we can provide final headcounts to our vendors. Any unanswered RSVPs will be considered a decline, so we hope you can make it!
Though we love spending time with your kids, children will not be allowed at our wedding celebrations (ceremony and reception). Please take the opportunity to let loose at our adults only party!
The ceremony will start promptly at 6PM. If you are not taking the shuttle bus from the hotel, we recommend you arrive at the Atrium no later than 5:45PM to get settled outside.
We are working to set up hotel room blocks and group rates at hotels nearby. In the meantime, on the "Travel to PA" tab, there are several options of accommodations in the area.
There will be a shuttle providing transportation to the venue before the ceremony at 5:15 with pick-up at one of the hotels (will be confirmed shortly). There will be shuttle service back to the hotels after the reception. Guests are permitted to leave their cars in the Atrium parking lot overnight if needed, and will have until 12pm the following day to pick them up before the next event there.
The dress code is semi-formal. The ceremony will be held outside (weather permitting), and during cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing, guests will be able to move between indoors and outdoors. Semi-formal for this event looks like suits (tie optional), cocktail to floor-length dresses, or formal pantsuits. Guests are free to wear any color; as an FYI the wedding party will be in charcoal grey for the groomsmen and merlot red for the bridesmaids. We encourage colors and fun outfits to embrace the fall season and the beautiful garden venue!
Our wedding is autism friendly, meaning we are creating an environment that is inviting to all of our guests. We ask that you refrain from loud speaking voices (yelling, shouting, etc) when attending, particularly during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Some of our guests will chose to celebrate by throwing a drink or screeching, and that is okay! We want everyone in our families to be there with us. There will be designated spaces for sensory regulation for those that require it. We ask all guests to be understanding and reserve any judgement. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
The Pittsburgh Cookie table is a long standing Western, PA wedding tradition. Beginning in the Great Depression era, to offset the cost of having a wedding cake, couples and families would ask guests to bake and bring cookies to share. This tradition stuck, and the cookie table is a staple at any Pittsburgh-area wedding. Great news, we WILL have a cookie table! We will be sending out a sign-up sheet for any guests that would like to bake and bring cookies to share. Please stay tuned for more information on details.
