We met in Somerville, MA in February 2022 on Bumble. In May, David was moving to St. Petersburg, FL, and we decided to do long distance.

Our Florida adventure began, and we began racking up the airline miles during weekends and Rachel's school breaks.

Rachel came to cheer David on at 2024 Paralympic Trials!

New adventures together in Austria! This was Rachel's first time whitewater rafting, and David managed to convince Rachel to take a quick swim in some frigid water.

One of the perks of Rachel's Biden White House job was getting to show David around the West Wing and the Rose Garden.

On August 20, 2025, David proposed while we were on vacation in Acadia National Park!

In November 2025, we welcomed the newest member of our family, Kugel!
