Question

Why Postcard Cabins?

Answer

Over the past four years, Postcard Cabins has become a special place for us. We’ve stayed at different locations all across the country, and it’s become our go-to getaway spot. Each stay has given us unforgettable memories, and now we’re so excited to share that experience with all of you. Also, this is Postcard’s most remote location with no cell service or WiFi… so enjoy the rare luxury of being unreachable.

Question

Why a full weekend?

Answer

We’re skipping the traditional extras like bridal parties and bachelorette parties. Instead, we wanted to create one simple, meaningful weekend where we can spend quality time with all of our favorite people—without making it a true destination wedding and putting a big financial burden on everyone.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Check in for the cabins is Friday at 4:00pm. The ceremony begins Saturday at 4:00pm. Please arrive by 3:45pm.

Question

What is the order of events on Saturday?

Answer

Cocktail Hour: 3:00pm - 4:00pm Ceremony: 4:00pm - 4:30pm Cocktail Hour Part 2: 4:30pm-5:30pm Dinner: 5:30pm- 6:30pm Reception: 6:30pm - 10pm

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

We’d love to see our family and friends dress up with us! So, we are requesting that all of our guests dress in semi-formal attire. We are going for “garden party semi-formal.” The ceremony will be outdoors in a grassy area. Ladies, please take this into account when choosing your shoes.

Question

Is food and alcohol provided?

Answer

We’ll be providing a few meals throughout the weekend: On Friday night, we’ll have a BBQ after the wine tasting, along with beer and wine available. On Saturday, a wood-fired pizza truck will be serving dinner, and we’ll have a bar truck for drinks. On Sunday morning, we’ll provide breakfast sandwiches and burritos to send everyone off. These are the only meals that will be provided. Other times like, Saturday morning, will not be catered. One of the best parts of staying at the venue is getting to enjoy the experience! Each cabin has a kitchen, and every campsite has a fire pit, so feel free to bring your own food, cook, and enjoy some quiet time in between all the festivities.

Question

Are dogs allowed?

Answer

Yes!!! We would love to have your pup join the weekend celebration. Tango has been with us through two cross-country moves and three house moves, he’s a big part of our life, and we can’t wait for everyone to meet him. Please just use your best judgement, there will be people, other dogs, and activity throughout the weekend. During the ceremony, we ask that no dogs are present so please make sure your pup is comfortable being left alone in the cabin for a bit. There is an additional fee for bringing dogs, please see the Postcard Cabins booking link.

Question

What is the parking situation?

Answer

There’s limited parking right next to the ceremony site, but since we’ll all be staying at the same campground, it’s just a short walk from your cabin to the ceremony.

Question

How do I book a cabin?

Answer

Please see the “Accommodations” page and use the link to book a cabin through the group booking link.
