Flight

Arrivals and Departures

The closest airport to our venue is Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN). We recommend flying into BCN and taking your preferred transportation to your lodging.

Travel Note

Uber/Taxi

Uber and taxis are common methods of transportation among locals.

Train

Renfe and Metro

Renfe (train), Metro (subway), and buses are an easy and cost-efficient way to travel in and around Spain. You can buy individual tickets or purchase a 10-trip card. Trip cards can be used for the train, subway, and city bus routes. Trips to and from the airport are purchased on a separate ticket.

Rental Car

Sixt

SIXT is a rental car company available from BCN airport. You can rent a car just like you would in the US, just make sure you select an automatic car if you don’t feel comfortable driving a manual transmission. You’ll need an International Driver’s Permit (IDP) in order to rent a car. Even though rental companies don’t always ask for it, it is required by law. Local AAA locations issue IDP's.
