FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive to Grace Cathedral?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 3:30! It is important that our guests arrive on time in order for the ceremony to start on time.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, our wedding is formal attire! Men: Dark suit and tie Women: Elegant long dress, longer cocktail dress, or dressy separates. We kindly ask that you avoid jeans, casual sundresses, or sneakers.

Question

Are there any clothing requirements at Grace Cathedral?

Answer

No specific requirements, but please follow the formal dress code above.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

If you plan to drive to the ceremony, please note that Grace Cathedral does not manage the cathedral parking garage and unfortunately cannot provide parking validation. Daytime street parking near the Cathedral is limited to two hours, so we suggest reserving a spot in advance via https://spothero.com. The Masonic Center Garage (1101 California St.) is a convenient nearby option within a short walking distance, and booking ahead is recommended as space can fill up quickly.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will not have a shuttle, but everything is conveniently close by. If you’re staying at the Mark Hopkins Hotel, Grace Cathedral is just across the street! There will also not be a shuttle from Grace Cathedral to the University Club since they’re only two blocks apart. If you anticipate needing any assistance or special accommodations, please don’t hesitate to reach out, we’d be happy to help.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

You will be notified on your invitation if you have a plus one!

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome! Your invitation will include the names of each invited guest, plus one's, or children.
