Our Story-Her POV

Covid love story?

The year was 2021, a year after COVID-19 started when restrictions started to ease up a little. People during this time did not just bump into each other and fall in love at first sight. Instead, you would meet people through dating apps. This is how we met each other. TINDER. We started talking to each other, which led to a first date. Then we had a few more dates before Zach finally popped the question and asked Me to be his Girlfriend. From there, our relationship just grew into something that will be forever. We are so excited to share this special moment with you all at the Zoo on august 17th, 2025.

Tinderella Story-His POV

Rachel and I met on Tinder. Her profile immediately caught my eye—it was quirky and unforgettable, featuring a photo of her wearing a spaghetti strainer on her head. I figured anyone that confident and weird in the best way was someone I had to meet. We matched, started chatting, and eventually planned our first date at a favorite spot—Tokyo Street Market. She parked behind me (after a few attempts), which gave us an early laugh and set the tone for the night. We hit it off instantly, bonding over our shared sense of humor. Her laugh was infectious, and the more she laughed, the more I wanted to be around her. That night, I also discovered something important: Rachel is a dessert enthusiast of the highest order. After dinner, we headed to a nearby dessert spot. On the way, I gave her a piggyback ride—she wrapped her arms around me, and I galloped down the sidewalk while she let out the most adorable “kettle” laugh. It was one of those movie-worthy moments you don’t forget. One date turned into two, then three, and before long, I knew—this was it. One month after our first night out, I asked her to be my girlfriend. Since then, everything has felt so natural. We’ve grown closer, become a part of each other’s families, and started building a life full of laughter, love, and a little bit of chaos. She gets me, quirks and all, and she loves me through it. I couldn't ask for more. I truly lucked out with my spaghetti strainer soulmate. I love you, Rachel
