Zachary and Rachel met in Newport News, VA in 2017. Zachary came back home to Virginia for a bit after his nationwide travels as an Outdoor Adventure Guide, and Rachel was studying music at Christopher Newport University. Zachary decided to get a job as a server to tie him over until the next scheduled Outdoor Adventure (in Hawaii!) and Rachel needed some part time work to help with student expenses. Serving tables was the most logical employment option for both as it fit with their schedules and wouldn't you know it - they picked the same restaurant! They got to know each other over the next few months and found out they had a lot of the same interests and values. Knowing Rachel loved amusement parks, Zachary took her to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg for their first date, the trip to Hawaii was canceled, and the rest is history! They are so happy that you all will be a part of their next chapter!
