Wynton and I met at the YMCA when Wynton started working as the Sports Director and I was the Youth & Family Director. I was quickly impressed by Wynton's work ethic, dedication, and ...ya know...by how cute he was. The thing was, he was so focused on his work he would barely make time to talk or hang out with anyone. He would come in, work hard, and then go home but I wanted to get to know him better. I decided I would force him into friendship by inviting him to hangout with me and friends and eventually after a lot of persistence he agreed. He then invited me to a Greenville Drive game with some of his friends and after that we knew we had a connection. We started dating in April of 2017 but we held off on telling anyone until we knew it was serious. Once our hearts couldn't keep it a secret any longer we opened up our relationship to close friends and family. It wasn't hard to fall in love with Wynton...his hilariousness, love for God and family, and ambition for the future were everything I wanted in a partner. We have experienced amazing trips, the joys and pains of running a summer camp, job changes, grad school, and a postponed celebration of our wedding. It has only made our bond stronger. I have no doubt that I am marrying who God has chosen for me and I am so happy I get to spend my life with my best friend. Corona has definitely put a damper in our original plans, but we have everything back on track! Please re-RSVP (we deleted everyone's original RSVP's) so that we can get an accurate count for our new August 14th date.
