Travel Note
London has loads of different accommodation options, and we recommend staying in either an AirBnB or a hotel. For hotels, London has lots to choose from, including hotel chains (e.g., Marriot, Hilton, Intercontinental), boutique hotels, and local pubs offering hotel rooms. For budget options, we recommend looking at pubs offering rooms and budget hotel chains like Premier Inn. (Tip: Booking.com is a popular hotel search engine here.) Currently, Will and I live in Walthamstow in Northeast London. Some areas that we love that are close to us are Highbury and Islington, Angel, and King's Cross. However, there are plenty of great options in Central London, just make sure they are walkable to a Tube station! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us.
Flight
For our guests traveling from overseas, the most likely airports you will be arriving at are London Heathrow and London Gatwick. Both are located roughly an hour from the city center. We recommend downloading the CityMapper app to navigate public transport around London, including from the airport. Alternatively, you can get a taxi or Uber. **Please note, all American and European guests entering the UK will be required to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) prior to departure.**
