Santa Monica Beach

It is 3.5 miles long and has parks, picnic areas, playgrounds, restrooms, as well as manned lifeguard stations, the original Muscle Beach, bike rentals, concessions, a few hotels, a bike path, and wooden pathways for warm days and beachgoers with disabilities.

3rd Street Promenade

The Third Street Promenade is a pedestrian mall shopping, dining and entertainment complex in the downtown area of Santa Monica, California. It is considered a premier shopping and dining district on the Westside and draws crowds from all over the Greater Los Angeles Area.

Abbot Kinney Boulevard

Abbot Kinney is a mile-long stretch of popular shops, restaurants, and galleries located in the Southern Part of Venice, California. It stretches from Venice Boulevard to Pacific Avenue and is home to one-of-kind local goods as well as internationally recognized brands.

The Venice Beach Boardwalk

The Venice Beach Boardwalk is a two-mile Ocean Front Walk on Venice Beach. The busiest stretch is from North Venice Boulevard at the south end to about Park Avenue at the north end, with some scattered bars and shops continuing up to Rose Avenue.

Its menu includes a fine and rare selection of more than 100 wines and spirits. A great place to have a glass of wine (or three). The brother of the bride is a manager here.

The Getty Villa

While the Getty Villa houses more than 44,000 Greek, Roman, and Etruscan antiquities, the Villa is a work of art on its own, modeled after a first-century Roman country house. The original villa that Getty based his villa on, Villa de Papiri in Heculaneum, Italy, was buried under debris caused by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. The Villa offers breathtaking views off the Malibu coast.

KazuNori: The Original Hand Roll Bar

If you like sushi and particularly Hand Rolls this is a fun place to check out. The menu primarily consists of just-made hand rolls, with icrispy nori, warm rice, and delectable ingredients, and according to the restaurant: “redefining what you think about sushi.”
