FAQs

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit or a sports coat.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you have a plus one, your guest's name will appear when you RSVP online. If you do not see their name, we would prefer it just be you.

Question

What's the weather like?

Answer

Close your eyes and flip a coin. February in Georgia is mighty fickle. It could be 70 degrees and sunny or the venue might be blanketed with snow. Just check the weather before you pack you bag. Google is smarter than we are!

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Empire Mills. When the ceremony ends, dinner and dancing will only be a few feet away.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors, but if the weather is pleasant, the reception will have both an indoor and outdoor cocktail area.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 45 minute to an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall for cocktail hour where we will be serving passed hors d'oeuvre and beverages.
