Question

I would like to attend the reception but am concerned about COVID. What are you doing to mitigate risk?

Answer

We are setting up our house to maximize social distancing. There will be outdoor seating and 3 rooms in the house for seated eating (including one more isolated room for our guests who are at high risk and need super-duper social distancing). There will be hand sanitizing stations throughout the house, and we ask guests to wear a mask if they are not eating or drinking. Most importantly, we ask that any guest who suspects they may have been exposed to COVID stay home, as much as we would love to have them with us. However, despite all our precautions, we cannot be 100% safe. So, if you are still concerned, we recommend you only attend the ceremony.

What can I do to keep myself and others safe?

Answer

Try to quarantine as much as possible the week before and after the wedding. Get your flu shot before the wedding. If traveling to Atlanta, minimize contact with others during your trip. Wear a mask at all times. Social distance at the ceremony and reception. Use hand sanitizer liberally. If you have any concern you have been exposed to COVID, stay home please! If you are able to go home after the ceremony and come to the reception later in the day in order to stagger guests and maintain social distancing, please consider doing so.
