We’re getting married!

We met when we were ten years old in gymnastics. We didn’t know each other well as kids but in 2020 Tyler slid into Rachel’s DM’s asking “is the zoo opened?” Tyler was taking his oldest daughter, Natalie, on a trip to Denver. We decided to take our girls hiking and the rest is history!

We were in Kauai on a family trip with Rachel’s girls, dad and stepmom. Tyler asked Rachel’s dad if he minded if we had a date night. Tyler rented a large tour boat that goes to Fern Grotto for the two of us to have a private tour. Two ladies gave us the tour and then Tyler proposed in front of the beautiful background. When we got back to the boat we had a table set for us with champagne, fruit and chocolates. They played Rachel’s favorite song, “Come What May” as we opened the bubbly. During the ride back one of the ladies played the ukulele and sang love songs. It was very romantic.
