Phyllis and Mickey Nye
Parents of the Bride
These two successfully kept track of all four Nye girls, only mixing them up occasionally. Both coming from big families themselves, Phyllis and Mickey have taught their daughters the importance of a close family. They are very active, including attending many of their four daughters' sporting events (yes, even those in North Carolina), participating in Shippensburg community events, traveling, skiing, making appearances at nearby Corvette shows, and teaching Rachel how to be an adult. Keep an eye out for Mickey's amazing wedding event photos at photosmickey.com (but be wary of the Manhattans)!
Mary and Michael de Castro
Parents of the Groom
For all of you that know Trevor, you know that these two certainly had their hands full as he was growing up! As their kids went to college, they made sure to stay busy by replacing them with their new family of pups! They love playing cut-throat card games, so don't expect to be easily forgiven if you beat them in Hearts. They are known for traveling far to spend time with and support their children (yes, even in North Carolina), and throwing some of the best football tailgates around. Mike and Mary also are at the heart of many exciting family traditions, including island vacations, summer beach houses, kilt runs, and that dangerous de Castro lemonade!
Natalie Nye
Maid of Honor
Natalie is the oldest of Rachel's three sisters. She is currently a third year law student at Drexel, pursuing a joint JD-MBA degree. She plans to take over H&H Chevrolet & Cadillac someday, so be sure to make her acquaintance if you want a sweet car deal! She is best known to the couple for her work ethic, genuine advice, and easy laughter. To Rachel, she can always be counted on to be goofy and honest friend, and of course show Rachel up with her amazing soccer skills.
Julia Nye
Maid of Honor
Julia is Rachel's younger sister in her senior year at NC State pursuing her B.S. in Business and Finance. She attended NC State at the same time as Rachel and Trevor, and thus got to see the couple grow first-hand over the last few years. Julia is easily the wildest of the Nyes, and you can always count on her to have a fun time! For Rachel, it was incredible to have a family member so close in NC, and she will always cherish their constant laughter, friendship, and troublemaking.
Gabriella Nye
Maid of Honor
Gabriella is Rachel's youngest sister. She is also very active (and especially known for her fantastic cross country running talent and determination to keep practicing even while in different countries). Gabriella is preparing to enter a Physical Therapy PhD program at Widener University. Watch what you say around her, because she will enforce the curse jar rules. She has been an inspiration to Rachel with her kindness and strong faith in God. She is the most tech-savvy of the family (those Gen Z-ers), so Rachel relies on Gabriella to teach her about all the hip new ways to stay up-to-date, from "tic tac toe" (a.k.a. TikTok) to BeReal to emojis. :)
Taylor de Castro

Taylor is the eldest of Trevor's two younger sisters. She recently graduated from Elon University with degrees in International Business and Sports Management, and now works for the Philadelphia Eagles (go birds!). She is best known for her extreme enthusiasm in everything she does, from throwing parties to wedding planning tips to finding pictures of dogs. The couple was also lucky enough to overlap with Taylor in North Carolina (you'll have to ask Taylor for the stories yourself). You may be able to recognize her by the Boston Sports gear she is always wearing!
Darby de Castro
Bridesmaid
Darby is Trevor's youngest sister, and is currently in her junior year at Villanova University studying Chemical Engineering and Economics. She is best known to the couple for her fierce loyalty, limitless geographic knowledge, and incredible athleticism, especially on the club lacrosse team. Let's not forget her love for all animals, especially Tessie and Darlene! She has plenty of good genes being about 6'6, but she could certainly learn some better card game strategies.
Liz Spicer

Liz is a best friend to the entire Nye family, and was the first friend that Rachel can remember. Liz and Rachel have many countless memories of pool parties, school bus bullies, all-nighters, SASHS football games, and perhaps a few drinking-related stories... Liz graduated from Pittsburgh and has excelled in several different roles since then, including Office Manager, elementary school teacher, and Air Force wife. She has a huge heart and is known for how caring she is to her family and friends. Don't be surprised if you find her "ensuring" that your significant other has good intentions!
Becca Conner
Bridesmaid
Becca is another best friend of the entire Nye family, and will soon graduate with her Masters in School Psychology from Winthrop University in South Carolina. She plans to work with elementary school children after graduation. She loves to find creative ways to have fun, and is one of the sweetest people you could meet. With her husband Dayne, these two goofballs are bound to have a good time, and were even convinced to attend the NC State Halloween football tailgate with Trevor and Rachel (although only one of them wore a costume...)
Maggie Morehouse
Bridesmaid
Rachel first met Maggie in elementary school at Corpus Christi School, and they became closer friends as they started participating in band, recess, and sports together. In high school, they were swim team co-captains (Maggie captured the long distance events while Rachel was the sprinter, and occasionally they would race head-to-head in the 100 and 200 freestyle). Maggie recently graduated from Gettysburg College and is currently applying to med school, where she aims to become a psychiatrist. She is best known for her love of parties, group activities, and abbreviating every word you can think of (especially on "insta")!
Ben Hardin
Best Man
Ben was Trevor's best and worst college roommate! He and Trevor survived through NCSU's undergrad Chemical Engineering program together, as well as through the Club Swim practices (although Ben may have been a bit more consistent on that front). He recently returned to Raleigh to work for Novo Nordisk after a few years working in Indiana. Ben is known to the couple for his funny quotes, love of beer brewing, and making a mess in their kitchen when he cooks any of his delicious meals.
Jeremy Haftel
Groomsman
Remy was Trevor's roommate for two years while they lived together in Madison, Wisconsin, both working at Epic. Jeremy was also kind enough to put up with Rachel's frequent visits to the city (thanks Jeremy!). He is originally from New Jersey (although thankfully he doesn't have too strong of a Jersey accent). Jeremy recently moved to New York City, where he watches reality TV shows, talks about going to the gym, and dreams of the day when he can successfully finish a round of golf.
Duncan McClure

White Fang was a big part of the dry land practices with the NCSU Club Swim team (which Rachel took way too seriously and Trevor didn't participate), Thursday night shenanigans, and brutal quiplash games. He graduated with his Political Science degree, and is currently deciding between careers as a financial advisor or an alligator wrangler. Proud owner of the floating playlist, he is sometimes known to stir the pot and laugh at other people's drama.... Lovely weather we're having.
Josh Tobin
Groomsman
Josh is one of Trevor's friends from Madison, Wisconsin, where they worked together at Epic for a few years. He is now working at Stavvy, a tech startup in Boston. He and Trevor make a great pair between skiing and golfing, where Josh can show Trevor up on the slopes, while Trevor can do the same on the fairway (sometimes).
Nicholas Apostolico

Apple-Sauce-tico first became friends with Trevor and Rachel on the NC State Club Swim Team. He is best known for his love for Mario Party, his red-neck antics at tailgates, and his raft trips down the river. If the bartenders need to take a break during the wedding, Nick will be the first call to step in.
Ricky Kamrud
Groomsman
Ricky "Abby Wambach" is another of Trevor's friends from the "Wisconsin Crew", also working at Epic for a few years, meeting when they first interviewed. He just learned how much better warm weather is after living in Minnesota for longer than anyone should, finally moving to Tampa, Florida with his girlfriend. If you're looking for an infectious laugh and a limitless amount of insults towards Boston and anyone from there, Ricky is your man.
Neelin Vakil

Neelbear graduated in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering and currently works as an engineer at Pentair in the Raleigh area. With his old roommate Duncan, Neelin is the biggest gym shark of the group, as well as can teach you every drinking game that exists, as long as he gets to play the song White Tiger. He also enjoys eating food of any kind and any mixture, however old or strange.
Holtz Ludlam

Holtzy is another member of the "Wisconsin Crew", who liked to compete with Trevor in golf and complain about Epic. He will be moving to Seattle soon with his girlfriend, who may even convince him to not wear gray to the wedding. He and the couple are looking forward to spending time together exploring the Pacific Northwest: Rachel may even be convinced to golf with these golf-gurus. Holtz is one of the better golf players of the group (someone's got to keep Trevor on his toes). Too bad he's never had a Holtz in one!
