Colette

Maid of Honor

Colette and I met freshman year of college in the JMU Fencing Club! We became fast friends. We lived together for 2 years in college and 2 years after college! She has been there for me through thick and thin and has taught me so much about myself. We think so much alike that we joke we are the same person. Richmond is much homier having her here. My favorite memories with Colette will always be our jam sessions in our living room.

Nadya

Bridesmaid

Nadya is my cousin who has been like a sister to me! She's always been spunky and is fearless in life. I am so grateful to have someone who's family in the bridal party who understands my traditions and heritage. She has always been someone to confide in and lean on during hard times. My favorite memory with Nadya, aside from countless holidays and stuffing our face's with tons of food, is during Bible Camps as kids. We'd go to this giant castle where we and the other kids would get lost in. It's always an adventure with Nadya!

Erinn

Bridesmaid

Erinn and I met in grad school at VCU. We were the only 2 people in our concentration, so we latched onto each other pretty quickly. I cannot describe how instrumental Erinn was to my success during grad school, both in school and in life. She has been a support that I've learned I can't live without. She understands me at a level I didn't even think possible. My favorite memories with Erinn will always be our Taco Bell runs after a hard exam!

Jordan

Bridesmaid

Where to begin!? Jordan is my Delta Gamma Big Sister, but she is so much more! She is someone I turn to for life's most difficult problems. She is someone I look up to in every aspect of life. She inspires me to be bold and take risks! I love how passionate she is about life and Jesus! One of my favorite memories with Jordan is when we went to a retirement community with DG sisters and sang to the residents while Jordan played guitar!

Lauren

Bridesmaid

Lauren has literally been a best friend my entire life. We were born exactly a week apart in the same hospital! I never fail to remind her that I was born first ;) We've grown up together and are basically sisters. She's someone that I can turn to for anything and will never judge me. She's always up for an adventure! Some of my favorite memories with Lauren include all of our birthday parties as a kid- from Build-a-bear to the bowling alley and everything in between!

Shannon

Bridesmaid

Shannon and I met while she was a PhD student in Dr. Kitten's lab at VCU and I was a summer intern. She is one of the smartest people I know and I deeply admire her work ethic and drive to accomplish anything she sets her mind to! Shannon is a great mentor and cheerleader for me in my life. We always celebrate our accomplishments together! My favorite memory with Shannon is definitely our trip to San Francisco for a conference where we spent some time in the Redwood Forest and in Wine Country!

Chandler

Bridesmaid

Chandler and I lived in the same dorm freshman year of college and are also Delta Gamma Sisters! Though we were friends in college, our friendship truly blossomed in our post-grad life since we both found ourselves in Richmond. She is always someone I can lean on and someone I can have new adventures with. She is a concert buddy and wine drinking buddy! My favorite memory with Chandler was our trip to Warped Tour in AC where we had a wild nights in the casino and crazy days as VIP at the concert on the beach!

AlexaRose

Bridesmaid

Alexa and I grew up together in Freehold. We were inseparable; always at each others' houses, or around the neighborhood. I loved our countless sleepovers, family vacations together, and neighborhood barbecues. My favorite memory was always watching our firefighter dads march in the Memorial Day parade! Even after she moved in middle school, we always stayed close! She is full of joy and her bubbly attitude is infectious. I'm so thankful to have her be a part of our big day.

Mike

Best Man

Mike and I have been best friends since grade school. He's always understood me and had my back. Some of my favorite memories with Mike include our camp adventures over the summer and his surprise welcome home party from deployment. It was an honor to stand by his side for his wedding and I'm so happy he'll be by my side as my best man.

Ryan

Head Groomsman

Ryan and I met in the JMU Fencing Club. Our time in the fencing club culminated senior year with us reaching our shared goals. My time in that club would have been subpar without him. One of my favorite memories was driving back to JMU from one of our last tournaments in Georgia. It was 2 am and we were running on pure adrenaline. It was an honor to stand by his side on his wedding day, and I'm honored to have him by my side on my wedding day.

Matt

Groomsman

Matt and I went to the same school K-12 and then both went to JMU. Not only did we live on the same hall as freshmen, but we continued to live together for the remainder of college. He's been by my side as a best friend throughout my whole life, so it's only fitting that he stands by my side on my special day. My favorite memories with Matt are essentially the entirety of college.

Sagar

Groomsman

Sagar and I met freshman year of college; we lived in the same dorm. After that we lived together for the remainder of college. He is always the life of the party and is so much fun to be around. I know I can always count on him for a laugh through life's hard times. One of my favorite memories with Sagar was visiting him in Fort Lauderdale for Spring Break.

Christiaan

Groomsman

Christiaan and I met through JMU Fencing club. Junior year our friendship solidified and the following year we ran the fencing club, me being his vice president. Serving as officers together for JMUFC showed how well we worked together, not only as teammates, but as friends. Some of my favorite memories with Christiaan include our annual beer crawls in Scott's Addition and Christmas parties in NoVA.

Doug

Groomsman

Doug and I go way back. I met him through the fencing world when I was in college and he was in high school. He was a very competitive fencer who always helped me out and gave me great fencing advice. It wasn't until he ended up in the JMU Fencing Club with Rachel that we grew closer. My favorite memory with Doug was our trip to Cincinnati for a national fencing tournament.

Micah

Groomsman

Micah and I knew each other from the fencing sphere, but I really didn't get to know him until I started fencing at Richmond Fencing Club. Moving to Richmond, I was alone in an unfamiliar city. Micah was a big part in making this city feel like home and welcomed me into the family that is RFC. My favorite memories with Micah include all of the summer and holiday parties at RFC and all the time spent together at the fencing club.

Chad

Groomsman

Chad and I met at work and naturally became close friends. Chad is easy to talk to and I feel like I can confide in him about anything in life. He always knows how to have a good time and some of my favorite memories have been exploring different bars and restaurants with him here in Richmond. I'm happy to have him by my side as I get married.
