Absolutely! Feel free to bring your little ones to the ceremony and reception. However, child care is unable to be provided during the festivities.
We are so glad you asked! Yes, this is to be considered an "unplugged" ceremony. Which basically means, please do not take pictures/videos/SnapChats of the happy couple/ceremony. All of our guests are very important to us, and we want everyone to be truly present during the ceremony. And it helps our (very well paid) photographer get the best shots available.
Yes! Please contact the bride/groom with any medical dietary restrictions/food allergies. We will do our best to accommodate you.
No, Thornton and Rachel prefer to have a dry wedding. (Not to mention, ain't nobody got time or money for bar fees)
Kindly refer to answer directly above.
As soon as possible! The reception has limited space available. So having as accurate a guest count as quickly as possible will ensure that everyone is accounted for and comfortable during the festivities. Please RSVP everyone in your party (specified on your Save the Date and invitation) who will be able to attend by September 20th.
Mostly this is just Thornton's chance to be humorous on the site. But Thornton and Rachel are avid dorky dancers at weddings. So if you would like to speak/hug/joke on/get the autograph of the happy couple, the dance floor (or buffet line) is where you will most likely find them.
Due to limited seating at the ceremony/reception, please invite only those individuals noted on the Save the Date/invitation sent to you.
No dress code required. We are not fancy people, and thus it would make no sense to arrange a black-tie affair. If anything, we are requesting people wear their "Sunday best" i.e. a nice shirt, khakis, casual dresses, dress pants, etc. If in doubt, wear whatever makes you feel nice.
