Yes! We got married with a small ceremony in Signal Hill on Feb 17th 2024. The ceremony was attended by our immediate family and there was no reception. It has always been our intention to host a "big wedding" with our extended family and friends, so we're happy to invite you now!
We ask that guests RSVP by August 31st 2026 through the online RSVP tool or by returning their physical card to us through the mail. We will reach out to anyone who has not RSVP'd by August 1st 2026 to remind them. Anyone who does not RSVP by the cutoff date will be assumed to not be attending.
We will be celebrating at: Arrowhead Pine Rose Cabins 25994 Hwy-189 Twin Peaks, CA 92391 It is approximately 1hr 40min drive from Long Beach. There is lodging available on-site (check out the Travel section of the website!) along with other hotels and AirBnBs in the area. Additionally, there will be plenty of parking.
Please aim to arrive no later than 3:30pm. The weather conditions driving up the mountain to Lake Arrowhead can change unexpectedly so please check the weather beforehand and make sure you have enough time to commute! Parking is directly adjacent to the wedding area, but if you're checking into a cabin make sure you give yourself an extra 45-60min to get settled before walking over. Anyone who arrives late to the ceremony will be asked to wait in the welcome area until the ceremony is finished.
Yes! Please bring them! We have designed our reception around having activities and entertainment for your little ones. This includes things like a kid-friendly meal, mini-quests, building blocks, coloring pages, and more! We also have quests and activities for adults that they can choose to bring their mini-companions to be a part of. Additionally, we will be hiring a childcare professional to help put little ones to bed in the adjacent cabin or wind down with quiet activities after 7pm. So, parents you can also opt to have your kiddo watched on-site while you enjoy the evening festivities!
Our dress code is Fantasy Florals. Don't know what that means? Check out the Attire section of the website! We have provided more details there along with mood boards and examples of great outfit ideas.
Early October in California is generally pretty comfortable and warm, however we will be up in the mountains so it gets a bit cooler at night. Expect average highs at 68°F (20°C) and lows at 47°F (8°C). We will have patio heaters and a fire pit available at night but a light shawl or jacket is recommended!
We are happy that our loved ones are excited to take photos and share the day with us. However, we have hired professional photographers and videographers to take care of that job for you! We ask that our guests please stow their phones and cameras during the ceremony so that we can all enjoy the moment. After the processional, feel free to snap as many photos as you'd like!
Arrowhead Pine Rose Cabins is pet-friendly if you choose to rent one of their specifically pet-friendly cabin options! However, we ask that if you do bring your furry friend that they remain in your cabin during the wedding. The space is not accommodating to multiple dogs and we wouldn't want anyone to step on our friend's paws!
We will be providing all our guests with a buffet-style dinner including a carving station and several appetizers. Desserts and s'mores will also be served later in the night. If you have dietary restrictions our catering vendor will be happy to accommodate, please just fill that out on your RSVP. There will be an open bar with standard liquor, wine, and beer. We will also be serving themed specialty cocktails (or should we say, potions?)
We're sorry to hear that you can't make it. Since we know it may be too far of a distance to travel for some friends and family, we will be live-streaming and recording the ceremony over Zoom! When you return the RSVP please write a note in the accommodations section requesting information for the live-stream. Rachel will be in touch!
