What do I need to bring to get onto the military base?

Answer

All you need to get in is your ID. We need to collect everyone's information two months before the wedding including kids’ names and guest information. Names submitted must be the same as names listed on your ID. For kids over 10, please bring a school ID or copy of birth certificate for identification.

Will there be transportation available?

Answer

Guests may drive their own vehicles or rentals on to the base and we will also have transport available. Charter buses will be picking guests up at Marriott Coronado at 4:30 and 5pm and dropping them off at the Island Club. Return buses come to the reception venue at 8:30, 9:30 and 10:30 and drop guests off at Marriott Coronado. We would STRONGLY suggest renting a car for the weekend.

When do we need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 27th, 2020. Since it is a military base we do need to give full names as they appear on your ID to the security team early.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Yes! More the merrier. The reception is right on the beach so make sure kids wear clothes that you are ok with getting dirty. Kids meal will be chicken tenders, fries and a fruit cup. Email hemmersmeierwedding@mail.com if another menu choice is needed.
