Is there a dress code?

Our wedding isn’t black tie, but we kindly ask guests to dress in semi-formal attire. Feel free to embrace summer colors and lighter fabrics. We just want everyone to feel polished, comfortable, and ready to celebrate with us!

Are kids welcome?

We're aiming to keep our guest list intentional. Children are welcome only if stated on the invitation. If you’re unsure or have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

Can I bring my plus one?

If your envelope says “guest”, you are able to bring your significant other. Feel free to reach out if you need clarification!

Are the ceremony and reception outdoor or indoor?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will be held in the large interior of the Historic Wakefield Barn. During cocktail hour you have the choice to be indoors or outdoors. We understand the heat of July; it is all air-conditioned!

How early should I arrive to the venue?

Answer

We would love guests to arrive between 3:30 and 3:45! Please account for any traffic coming into the Raleigh area.

What does parking look like?

Answer

There is a large, covered parking area on the property that is visible as you drive in. There will be a golf cart available if you would like assistance getting up to the barn. The paved walkway will lead to the side door of the barn where you will enter!

What will be served for dinner?

Answer

You can expect a casual, southern barbecue meal catered by Prime Barbecue in Knightdale, NC.
