On July 21st, 2021 Rachel had just begun a new job as a secretary at Santa Cruz High School. It was summer time when she started so there were no students on campus and very few staff. On her first day of work as she was talking with her new colleague and getting set up in the office, she needed her computer to be set up. After all, you do need a computer to be a secretary. That morning, the high school's IT guy, Sergio, walked in to set up Rachel's work computer. Although it was not love at first sight, being two of the younger people in the office, it drew them together as they shared common interests. Sergio and Rachel developed a good friendship and spent time enjoying lunch in the break room together and talking and chatting about work while also getting to know each other. After nearly two years of being best office buds, both Rachel and Sergio realized that they had a special bond and connection. Thus, a beautiful, respectful, fun and loving friendship developed into the love story of Sergio and Rachel today. And to this day, they still get to enjoy lunch together, in the break room ❤️
