Be aware that Salem is very busy during the month of October, and the city recommends taking public transit into town as parking is extremely limited. One of our absolute favorite places to visit! Enjoy the Peabody Essex Museum and the Witch Dungeon Museum, and walk around a truly beautiful historic square! Salem holds many craft markets and exclusive Halloween tours during the month of October, but make sure to book any tours and dining reservations about a month out, as these book quickly!
Walk around the campus of America's oldest university, and take in the gorgeous brown stone buildings in the crisp fall weather. Harvard has a fairly large campus that spans most of Cambridge's town center. There are so many local shops, restaurants, and puds sprinkled around the campus.
