Are kids allowed at the Wedding?
Answer
We want our wedding to be one big party, so we will be limiting the number of kids attending to specific family members of Ryder and Rachel's family.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Options Below: Semi-Formal: Men - Suits (Tie Optional) Women - Cocktail Dresses and Pant/Skirt Suits Business Casual: Men - Button up shirts and Slacks Women - Blouse and Slacks/Skirts, Dresses We are only getting married once, so lets get fancy people! *No Polos and No Jeans Please*

Can I bring a date?
Answer
To keep our wedding more intimate we are not allowing for plus ones. We will only accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Are recreational drugs allowed at the venue?
Answer
Our venue has a strict zero tolerance policy for drugs illegal in Texas.

Can I bring my own alcohol?
Answer
No beverage purchased offsite can be brought onto the main grounds, reception building, or patio. Guests are able to bring their own alcohol into the cottages and consume pre/post event.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
Answer
Invitations will be sent in August with a QR code to RSVP by 10/04/2023. If you do not RSVP please bring a chair and a sack lunch.

What should I do if I can’t make it?
Answer
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

How do I get to the venue?
Answer
Our ceremony and reception will be held at the Oaks at High Hill venue. It's halfway between San Antonio and Houston. 1800 Bruno Rd Schulenburg TX, 78956

Do you have a hotel block for guests?
Answer
Yes! We have a block at the Holiday Inn Express. 200 Heinrich Street Schulenburg, TX 78956 (979) 743-2301 To make your reservation call the hotel and ask to book under the "Ryder&Rachel block". You have until 10/17/2023 to call and book under this block before the rooms are released to the public.

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?
Answer
No, you are responsible for coordinating transportation to and from the venue.
Question
Where should guests park? Is parking free?
Answer
The venue has free onsite parking. The gates are locked between 12am-8am. If a car is left in the parking lot it can be retrieved the following day between 8am-2pm.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Ceremony will take place outdoors and Reception will take place indoors.

What Time Will The Ceremony Begin?
Answer
Ceremony Starts at 4:30. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony.

What happens after the ceremony?
Answer
After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception area where a cocktail hour will commence.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?
Answer
Yes, we'll be serving stuffed pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes, seasonal veggies, and a side salad. Adult beverages will also be available.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Answer
Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #rachelsryderdie so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Where are you registered?
Answer
We know it's not traditional or the way it's usually done, but rather than a registry, we'd like to have some fun! We have plenty of things to fill our house and make our place a home, so now we'd love to venture out, explore a new part of the world, and roam! If you'd like to give a gift to help us celebrate, something towards our honeymoon fund we would so appreciate! Check out our registry tab on our website for more info.
