What day should I arrive?
Answer
The wedding is on Sunday, but we will be arriving a few days prior to prepare! Feel free to come up for the long weekend or just pop into town the night prior!

What is the dress code?
Answer
The Beatnik is such a cool venue and has tons of greenery and patterns going on, so... we would love if you could wear a black outfit! The wedding is by no means black tie, but sticking to a black dress or suit would be amazing for picture purposes!

What time should I arrive to the wedding ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will start promptly at 6:30 PM. Guests may start arriving at 6 PM!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The wedding and reception will both be held indoors. The venue does have a retractable roof to open to the outside if the weather is nice so plan accordingly!

Is there parking at the wedding venue?
Answer
No, there is no parking at the venue! Public transit or Lyft/Uber will be the best option!
Question
Will dinner be served during the reception?
Answer
Yes! Expect a "heavy appetizer" experience instead of a sit down meal. Plenty of food will be available!

Will there be meal options for those with dietary restrictions?
Answer
We plan on having an assortment of options that accommodate vegetarian, gluten-free, and nut free diets. If you have additional restrictions that go beyond what we've listed here, please let us know in the designated section of your RSVP once official invitations are sent. We want you to feel comfortable and well fed!

Is there an open bar?
Answer
A great selection of beers, wines, and cocktails will be available throughout the evening! We will cover the tab until 10 PM and transition to a cash bar from 10-11 PM!

Will there be an after party?
Answer
The whole wedding IS the party! In all reality, probably not. We have the venue until 11pm and we are both old souls that enjoy sleeping.

Can I bring my child?

Unless stated on your invitation, we ask that you leave the kiddos at home!

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Unless stated on your invite, we ask that no additional guests attend as we have a very specific number of people allowed in the venue.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
Answer
The biggest gift we could receive is your presence at our wedding! If you would like to bring a gift larger than an envelope to the actual wedding, please check our registry and have it sent to Rachel's house as we will be limited on space driving home!
Question
Is this an 'unplugged' ceremony?
Answer
While we understand that staying in touch with others is important (especially if the kids are at home!), we ask that you refrain from using your cell phones and other electronics during the ceremony. Furthermore, we would love you to keep those phones away and party it up with us during the reception! We invited some cool people...lets mingle!
