I guess you can say it all started with a Halloween costume? It was 2015, and our meet-cute actually takes place in Binghamton, NY at the TEP frat house on Halloween Weekend our freshman year of college. Romantic, we know. Rachel saw an incredibly tall man who then proceeded to make fun of her “very original” Halloween costume. Usually, this is the part where most love stories would say "the rest is history" after that first meeting. But, for us, the story had a few chapters in between. Life carried us in different directions for a few years through different seasons of growing up. Yet, through it all, there was always an invisible string somehow quietly pulling us back toward each other. And then on one summer day in 2020, all it took was a simple text for Rachel to get in the car and drive all the way from New Jersey to Long Island just to go on a first date with Richard. Now, from there, the rest is indeed ~history.~ From that one summer day, we’ve been together ever since. From creating a home in Hoboken to traveling to new cities all over the world, and, most importantly, laughing together at all times - we couldn’t be more excited to embark on this next chapter of our lives as we celebrate with you, our loved ones.
