The earlier you book the better the rates for international flights. We have flown many airlines. United, Delta and SWISS have been some of our favorite airlines to travel with. Please make sure to check with each airline in regards to COVID restrictions.
When booking airfare, depending on where you travel too, Thessaloniki is the closest airport to Halkidiki (about 35 min car/Uber/taxi ride away). Athens, by train or car is roughly 5hrs away and by air is 1hr.
When landing in Thessaloniki, Halkidiki is about 1hr away. Rental car is a good choice (don't forget to obtain international drivers license) or depending on where you stay they may offer pick up.
Halkidiki on the map consists of "three legs". Our wedding is on the first leg at the end. We recommend renting a beach house through booking.com for better rates, just type in the address of the venue to see what is near by. Our hotel location is an option as well.
