drive along Buford Dam Road to find multiple lake parks for a relaxing stroll or picnic along the lake
want to explore the outdoors but not go to the lake? this park has trails that lead you to the highest point in Forsyth with a really pretty view from the top.
if you're like us and want to get out in some nature on this trip, go check out Amicalola Falls. it's a great hike about 40 minutes north of Cumming back in the countryside. it is a medium-high level of difficulty, so bring a water and be prepared to climb a lot of stairs because that's nearly all of the hike.
