Officiant
Lydia and Rachel grew up in Kentucky together. While not friends back then, they reconnected when both moving out to Denver. Lydia and Racquel were always “the straight girls at the gay bar” and then… Racquel started dating Rachel (sorry, Lyd). From watching Bengals games, hiking, exploring new restaurants in Colorado and frequenting our favorite dive bar, Lydia has become one of our closest friends. We couldn’t imagine anyone better to be our officiant, as she’s been apart of our love story since the very beginning.
Matron of Honor
Ali and Racquel were suite mates in college freshman year. They bonded in the dorms on night one over their love of banana bread… and hatred of their RA, Ben. From almost failing out of college together (shoutout Wii tennis and Mario Kart), moves across country, breakups, matching tattoos and kids… they’ve been by each other’s side through just about everything. Ali even plotted behind Racquel’s back to help Rachel plan the engagement! After not living in the same state since their CSU days in 2008, Ali finally convinced her husband to move to Colorado so they could be closer (aka her husband got a job transfer here). To say it’s been a dream come true is an understatement. Racquel cannot wait for Ali to stand by her on her big day!
Bridesmaid
Keagan is Racquel’s daughter and Rachel is her “mer mer maid”. Racquel has been a single mom most of Keagan’s life and they have been through so much together. Keagan is also a mini-me of Racquel is every way. Racquel is so excited to have Keagan be by her side on this special day.
Maid of Honor
Rachel and Megan go way back, to the ballin' in grade school days. They became closer in high school and eventually, after college, Rachel moved in with Megan, where they had some of the best times of their life! Rachel credits Megan with always being there and supportive during the "key moments" of her life. Even though she's across the pond now, they still try to stay in contact as much as possible!
Matron of Honor
Rachel and Kate met in circa 2012, when they both decided to get "big girl jobs" at Fidelity. Rachel knew from week 1 being in the same new hire class as Kate, that they were going to be good friends. Kate has been a huge supporter of Rachel in life and in her career. From encouraging Rachel to go into Starbucks in heels and sweatpants after the annual company Christmas party (yes, we were VERY late to work) to now being on the same team 12 years later, they are always looking for new ways to bring fun and laughter into the workplace. Outside of work, they formed a strong bond going to concerts and music festivals together. She has always been a huge supporter of LGBTQ+, which lead to many fun times walking in Pride parades and of course, the parties after.
