Originally a homestead apple farm, Slide Rock State Park is one of Sedona’s most popular recreation spots. Escape the heat in the cool waters of Oak Creek. Cost is $30 per vehicle. There are stairs down to the creek, and the rocks make a natural water slide that’s fun to go down. You can walk along the creek or on some short trails above. Many picnic spots. https://youtu.be/8-IwEd0h8vk?si=Jkyf67RkT2lZQdGS

Courthouse Butte / Bell Rock Cathedral Rock Chapel of the Holy Cross Airport Mesa Boynton Canyon Although all of Sedona is considered to be a major vortex, there are specific sites where the energy crackles most intensely. The four best known Sedona vortexes are found at Airport Mesa, Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock and Boynton Canyon — each radiating its own particular energy. Some are thought to produce energy flowing upward, aspiring towards the heavens, while at others the energy spirals downward, entering the earth and planting the seeds of our wishes in the ground. Don’t be surprised to find people doing meditation, yoga or performing other rituals at vortex sites. Please be respectful. All vortex sites are easily accessible and maps and directions are available at the visitor center. Show up with an open mind & see, feel, or even hear what happens when you open yourself to the energy of the land.

From their website: Nestled beneath the shade of the sycamores on the banks of beautiful Oak Creek in Sedona, Tlaquepaque is the most distinctive Sedona shopping experience to be found in the Southwest. Authentically fashioned after a traditional Mexican village, Tlaquepaque, meaning the "best of everything," has been a Sedona landmark since the 1970s. Its "vine-covered" stucco walls, cobble-stoned walkways, and magnificent arched entryways give you the feeling that Tlaquepaque has been here for centuries. Tasteful galleries and unique shops live in harmony with its lush natural environment where giant sycamore trees stand in testimony to the care taken in preserving the timeless beauty of the Tlaquepaque grounds. It would be hard to find more beautiful surroundings anywhere to create a shopping experience like no other.
